CASE STUDIES

OverviewCorner Store (now Circle K) was looking to reach all their stores from Austin to San Antonio to Houston to South Texas, an area that covers over 600 + stores to promote and enter to win campaign.

 

Strategy – We had to take a very tactical approach to ensure that all possible consumers around all 600+ Corner Store locations were reached, and not only reached, but informed of the above promotion.  We accomplished this via a two-fold process – 1) behaviorally targeted digital cross device display around a 3-5 mile radius of each store and 2) a Google Maps component, where users had the opportunity to click on a button, which would take them to a GPS page where the nearest 2-3 Corner Store locations would pop up..

Success – Using a sniper approach, over 19.0M impressions were served, with approximately 409,000 people interacting with the Google Maps option, meaning if the 409,000 people who interacted with the map had simply spend $1.00 at a Corner Store, the campaign more than would have paid for itself and then some.
 

Overview – Throughout 2016 and 2017, Credit Human’s (formerly SACU) primary goal was to create more brand awareness and relevance in the San Antonio area, leading to the eventual name change to Credit Human in mid-2017

 

Strategy – In order to increase awareness, our multi-pronged strategy consisted of several media channels in the San Antonio DMA – broadcast TV and cable, radio, cross device digital display, video, SEM, advanced TV, Pandora, and outdoor billboards.  By utilizing several different media, we were able to – and are still doing so today – maximize our reach against the core target of A25-54 in a highly competitive bank/credit union category.  

 

Success – After starting an awareness campaign at the start of 2016, the number of site visits immediately increased; in May 2017, a little after heavy advertising began, there was a noticeable spike in online traffic.  Two months after the launch, 3 out of 4 users said they were aware of the name change to Credit Human.  Today (2025) everybody in San Antonio knows who Credit Human is.
 

Overview – In 2018-2019, Columbia College (based in Columbia, MO) and with several satellite campuses nationwide, was looking to ramp up enrollment entering the 2019 year either virtually or on-campus.

 

Strategy – Prior to our eventual strategy, Columbia College had been planning and buying local and cable TV across several markets, primarily focusing on recruiting students to the main campus in Columbia, MO.  To reach prospective students across the country, however, we recommended a Network Cable plan, in line with what the competition was doing.  The rationale for this was presented via applicable research, as were the recommended networks, and ultimately approved.

 

Success – The initial campaign was 3 months; over this time span, applicable leads year-over-year increased over +70%, resulting in Columbia College actually needing to bring in additional personnel to handle the increased activity
